The Mighty Ducks have signed right wing Igor Nikulin and goaltender Blaine Russell, the team announced.
Nikulin, 24, played in 61 games with Baltimore of the American Hockey League last season, collecting 27 goals and 25 assists. He was the Ducks’ fifth-round pick in the 1995 entry draft. Russell, 20, played junior hockey last season with Prince Albert and Lethbridge of the Western Hockey League, appearing in 35 games. He was 13-16-4 with a 3.38 goals-against average.
