Wife Arrested in Husband’s Shooting

A woman who told police she accidentally shot her husband in the arm was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and spousal abuse, police said.
Katherine Brickey called police after her husband, Walter, was shot in the arm at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Chesapeake Lane, police said.
The Brickeys apparently had been arguing in their bedroom, when Katherine Brickey grabbed a loaded handgun from the dresser, shooting her husband in the right upper arm, Lt. Luis Ochoa said.
Walter Brickey, 57, was in good condition Thursday at Kaiser Hospital in Anaheim.
Katherine Brickey, 58, was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
