ValuJet Points Finger at Contractor in Crash

ValuJet said it has evidence that its maintenance firm deliberately mislabeled cargo that federal investigators believe caused last year’s deadly crash in the Florida Everglades. ValuJet accuses SabreTech of sending the hazardous oxygen canisters for loading on the DC-9 because it had to clear out a Miami warehouse to impress a potential client. SabreTech called the allegations preposterous.
