Screaming Mimi (Cinemax Tuesday at 7:15 a.m.) A curious 1958 programmer, directed by the respected Gerd Oswald, in which Anita Ekberg, playing a woman recovering from an assault, becomes an exotic dancer in a nightclub run by Gypsy Rose Lee. With Phil Carey, Harry Townes.
Tramp, Tramp, Tramp (AMC early Thursday at 3:15 a.m.) Written by Frank Capra (and others), this 1926 silent stars wistful Harry Langdon as a competitor in a cross-country walking race sponsored by a shoe manufacturer, whose daughter, Joan Crawford, becomes the girl of Langdon’s dreams. Capra would graduate to director on Langdon’s next film, “The Strong Man.”
