Intermediate School Needs Under Review

Oxnard elementary school officials Tuesday will hold the first of three parent meetings aimed at reviewing the needs of the district’s three intermediate schools.
With Haydock Intermediate School being refurbished and scheduled to reopen for the 1998-99 school year, district officials want to share information on plans for the intermediate schools and solicit ideas from the community on ways to improve those campuses.
The meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on the following days and locations:
* Today at Frank Intermediate School, 701 N. Juanita Ave.
* Sept. 9 at Fremont Intermediate School, 1130 North M St.
* Sept. 30 at Kamala School, 634 W. Kamala St.
The information provided to community members from the district will be the same at all meetings, and parents are welcome to attend any or all of the gatherings.
A Spanish-speaking translator will be available at each meeting. For more information, call the district at 487-3918.
