Wayne Nastri Named to Seat on Air Board

Gov. Pete Wilson has appointed Aliso Viejo resident Wayne Nastri to the South Coast Air Quality Management District Board.
Nastri, 37, has been the president of Environmental Mediation Inc. since 1995 and has experience in such areas as hazardous waste investigation and remediation, emergency response and legislative environmental policy.
His appointment to the board is subject to state Senate confirmation.
Nastri serves on the California Air Resources Board’s Zero Emission Vehicle Advisory Committee.
The South Coast district is responsible for air pollution control in Southern California.
