Re “Dognapper Jailed, but Pet’s Fate Still Mystery,” Aug. 17, concerning the Lawndale woman jailed for not being convinced Joseph French was the owner of the stray dog she had taken in:
Identification would have been positive and immediate had the animal been licensed and unnecessary had the dog been controlled. Edie Warwick is going to jail. Has French even been cited for his obvious violations?
