Volunteers Needed to Pick Family of Year

The city’s Recreation and Park District is looking for volunteers to form part of the committee that will select the 1997 Cypress Family of the Year.
The selection will occur during the week of Nov. 23, which coincides with National Family Week. Volunteers will also help select the winning entry for a children’s poster contest.
Applications are due by Wednesday. Aug. 27.
