Newborn Found Alive in Dumpster in Lancaster

An hours-old newborn, with umbilical cord still attached, was found in a dumpster in the 3300 block of West Avenue J-4 at about 9:40 a.m. Friday , officials said.
The infant, a black male, was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Officials are searching for his mother.
