Jaguars Send Zodiac to Punishing Defeat

Two players scored three goals each as the California Jaguars defeated the Zodiac, 6-1, in an A-League soccer game Saturday at Salinas Municipal Stadium.
Adriano Gonzalez had three goals and two assists and Mark Baena had three goals to increase his team-leading total to 17 for the Jaguars (15-10).
The Zodiac had held California to one goal in each of their previous three meetings.
Gustavo Leal, who was tied for third in the league for goals going into the game, scored his 16th of the season for the Zodiac (9-16).
The Jaguars, who won their third consecutive game, moved into a tie for second place with Vancouver in the Pacific Division.
