Computer Sciences Corp. plans to hire as many as 450 employees in three years to work on a $4.4-billion DuPont Co. contract, a Computer Sciences spokeswoman said. Computer Sciences also said it plans to construct a building in Christiana, Del., to house employees working on the DuPont contract. Currently, 1,050 Computer Sciences workers are involved in the 10-year contract, 250 of them at a Newark, Del., site purchased from DuPont. “Along with that, we plan to grow our employee count 100 to 150 [a year] over the next three years,” the spokeswoman said. The computer services company employs 2,500 under the agreement to run Wilmington, Del.-based DuPont’s computer and information systems. The Christiana facility is expected to be completed next June.
