2 O.C. Firms Awarded Military Cleanup Work

Two Orange County companies are among the firms named Monday to share in a $475-million Air Force environmental cleanup contract.
A unit of Irvine-based Fluor Daniel and Tustin-based CET Environmental Services Inc. are among seven companies that will split the cleanup contract. Six of the companies were named Monday, including CET and Fluor Daniel/GTI Inc. in Norwood, Mass.
The cleanup work, to be done at various locations worldwide, will last through December 2005, according to the Defense Department.
The other companies named Monday were Roy Weston Inc. of Westchester, Pa., and privately held Montgomery Watson Americas Inc., IT Corp., and Environmental Chemical Corp.
