The search has begun. Inglewood has hired two consultants to comb the country for a new police chief and a city administrator.
Inglewood Police Chief Oliver Thompson retired in February after five years on the job and City Manager Paul Eckles retired in March after 21 years with the city.
The City Council on Tuesday voted to pay $18,000 to Sacramento-based David Griffith & Associates to line up candidates for the city administrator’s job.
It also voted to pay $24,500 to Hawkins Co. of Los Angeles to find candidates for the police chief’s job.
