Councilwoman Jackie Goldberg will speak at the ninth annual Interfaith Labor Day service Monday in the San Fernando Valley, this year hosted by Temple Judea in Tarzana.
Goldberg will talk about “Work, Welfare and Wages: Establishing a New Value for Labor” during the 7 p.m. service co-sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Interfaith Council and Valley Labor Political Education Council.
The free public event will include a barbecue that will start at 5:30 p.m. on the synagogue grounds at 5429 Lindley Ave. (818) 758-3800.
