What’s This? Angels Advertising Drugs?
I have been an Angel fan for years. I found Disney’s response to the Tony Phillips cocaine arrest quite hypocritical, as the Angels derive advertising income through legal drugs by allowing huge Marlboro and Budweiser billboards at the Big A. I applaud Disney’s intent regarding the cocaine issue, but they should look at ways of discouraging legal drug use of smoking and drinking that exist in their own backyard by pulling down those billboards, even if it means remunerating Marlboro and Budweiser for terminating their billboard lease early.
