TAKING INITIATIVE

Contrary to the impression that may have been left by Don Shirley (Theater Notes, Aug. 17), the Mark Taper Forum’s Latino Theatre Initiative is active and ongoing. Although we may not currently have a generous grant, the program continues to be a success because we are now integrated as resident artists into the Taper. Now the great work begins.
