A man who stabbed a woman at a Sun Valley strip club made his getaway in a carjacked vehicle, then lost control and landed upside-down on a stretch of railroad tracks, police said.
The woman, 26, was treated at a hospital for a stab wound in the abdomen, said Officer Jason Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department.
After the knife attack, which Lee said occurred about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect, 24, ran outside and commandeered a car from a man at knifepoint. The car crashed nearby while officers were attempting to stop it.
The suspect was arrested and later hospitalized for chest pains.
