A man who splashed a parked pickup Tuesday afternoon while watering his lawn in the 100 block of Everett Avenue was shot in the leg by the truck owner when he refused to wipe off the vehicle, said Orange Police Sgt. Dave Hill.
“It was just some incidental splashing,” Hill said.
The shooter’s father lives next door to the victim, but police declined to name the 30-year-old suspect, who fled the scene after the shooting.
The wounded man’s name was also withheld.
