U.S. Again Permits Import of Clementines

The Agriculture Department once again will allow Spanish clementines into the country, except for five main citrus growing areas, including California.
The popular seedless citrus fruit, an emerging rival to California navel oranges, was banned in December after live larvae from the destructive Mediterranean fruit fly were found in shipments.
