Gunman Kills 2, Wounds 8 at Campus

A man opened fire, killing two people and injuring eight at a university campus in the Australian city of Melbourne, police and emergency services said.
The gunman was taken into custody after the shooting on the sixth floor of a building at the Monash University campus on the outskirts of Australia’s second-largest city. “He was in the possession of a number of handguns,” police Supt. Trevor Parks said. “It would appear there has been indiscriminate shooting.”
