Tyco Auditor Aware of Deal, Ex-Exec Says

The former general counsel for Tyco International Ltd., indicted for allegedly falsifying documents to conceal $14 million in loans to himself from the company, said in court documents that the conglomerate’s outside auditors knew about the loans.
The documents, filed in state court in Manhattan, also said that former Tyco general counsel Mark Belnick told the auditors he owed more to Tyco than they had calculated.
