Nick Nolte Is Charged With 2 Misdemeanors

Prosecutors filed two misdemeanor charges Wednesday against actor Nick Nolte stemming from his arrest last month in Malibu.
Nolte, 61, faces one count of drunk driving and one count of being under the influence of a controlled substance, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said.
Prosecutors believe Nolte had taken gamma-hydroxybutyrate, also known as GHB, before he was stopped on Pacific Coast Highway while driving erratically Sept. 11.
Nolte, who is free on $2,500 bail, is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at the Malibu Courthouse.
