U.S. Homeownership Rate Rises to 68%

U.S. homeownership rose to 68% in the third quarter, from 67.6% at the end of June, the government said.
Homeownership rates for minorities also rose. The Latino homeownership rate climbed to 48.3% from 47.2%, and black homeownership rose to 47.1% from 46.3%, the Census Bureau said.
