It’s official

Even when Johnny moved to France and settled down with a French actress, America refused to take the hint. We thought he was just playing hard to get. Then, in an interview with Stern magazine, Johnny confirmed all our deepest insecurities, calling America “a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, aggressive.”

My body is a journal

Johnny has about seven scars from cutting and about 13 tattoos. He’s open about his past as a cutter, and he once said, “My body is a journal in a way. It’s like what sailors used to do, where every tattoo meant something, a specific time in your life when you make a mark on yourself, whether you do it yourself with a knife or with a professional tattoo artist.” His Winona Forever tattoo, however, has been changed to Wino Forever. Romance

In 1983, Johnny married (and later divorced) his makeup artist, Lori Anne Allison. When Allison fell for Johnny, he was a lowly telemarketer. Johnny has also been linked to Winona Ryder and Kate Moss.
