Robbery suspect is still at large
Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect after a holdup at
a Huntington Beach liquor store.
At about 9:36 p.m. Saturday, a man entered Town Liquor, in the
9700 block of Adams Avenue, brandished what is described as a
dark-colored handgun and demanded money from the clerk, police said.
The suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash, possibly
using a silver car to flee. Police described the vehicle as a sedan
that may have four doors, driven by a woman with curly hair. Police
do not know in what direction the vehicle traveled after driving off.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall man with a thin to
average build. The suspect was reportedly wearing a dark blue or
black ski mask and a blue or black hooded nylon Adidas jacket with
three stripes on the sleeves.
At this point, police have not connected the incident to any other
crimes under investigation.
“We don’t have any relation to any other robberies,” Huntington
Beach Lt. Janet Perez said.
