* Hillcrest Drive: A resident reported hearing chanting described
as on ongoing problem for the past 30 years in the 600 block at 10:52
p.m.
* North Coast Highway: A San Clemente man was arrested on
suspicion of trespassing and parole violation in the 300 block at
11:11 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: A man reported $2,000 had been stolen from
his bank account in the 2600 block at 8:03 p.m.
* Victory Walk: A man reported landscaping had been vandalized and
expensive rocks had been stolen from his home in the 1200 block at
5:39 p.m.
SUNDAY
* Broadway: A store manager reported a man stole $100 in the 200
block at 3:05 p.m.
* Glenneyre Street and Laguna Avenue: A man was arrested on
suspicion of driving under the influence at 1:55 a.m.
* Laguna Canyon Road A van’s windows were reported broken by rocks
in the 600 block at 9:57 a.m.
SATURDAY
* Cliff Drive: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on warrants and a
Washington man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public
after a disturbance was reported in the 400 block at 7 p.m.
* Glenneyre Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of possession
of a controlled substance after police reportedly found a vial of
cocaine during a traffic stop in the 800 block at 2:56 p.m.
* Ocean Avenue: Battery was reported in the 200 block at 9:26 p.m.
* South Coast Highway and Diamond Street: A man was arrested on
suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, hit-and-run and
driving under the influence at 2:20 a.m.
FRIDAY
* Beach Street and Broadway: A driver reported a person in another
vehicle threw an object at the reporting party’s windshield at 10:58
p.m.
* Broadway: An injury traffic collision was reported in the 200
block at 12:55 p.m.
* Loretta Drive: Identity theft was reported when a man told
police someone tried to use his identification to open an account in
the 600 block at 5:45 p.m.
