Pythons slip past Orange Crush

Brandon Drochner posted three goals to lead seven Pythons in the
scoring column as they slithered past the Orange Crush, 11-1, in a
Howe Division game at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in
Huntington Beach.
Austin Heinz and Nick Evans each scored twice and Trevor Evans,
Tov Johnson, Aaron Caro and Trevor Whitecotton each scored once.
Drochner also recorded three assists and Caro, Heinz, Johnson and
Christopher Bill each had one assist.
Jacob Otis yielded one goal and had 13 saves.
Alex Montalbo scored off a Brandon Corral feed for the only goal
scored by the Orange Crush and Kai Ane had 18 saves.
In other Howe Division matches:
Hawks 5, Roller Dogs 2
Jeffrey Wong and Krist Biakanja each scored two goals to pace the
Hawks in scoring.
Ryan Ward scored once and Zack Bair had three assists and Cole
Thormodsgaard had a pair of assists.
Charlie Condron finished with 18 saves.
Cole Bonanni and Sarah Aguayo each scored, Scott Simpson had an
assist and Shane Connolly picked up 23 assists for the Roller Dogs.
Atomic Punks 6, Riptide 3
Troy Loggins and Kolyn Switzer each had two goals as the Atomic
Punks downed the Riptide.
Luke Loggins and Tristan DeBoom each scored once, and Loggins had
two assists and Switzer, Nick Hansen and Kevin Gast each had one
assist.
Zachary Beko recorded 30 saves.
Rinald Hancock, Trevor Jackson and Zac Zomaya each scored for the
Riptide and Nicholas Jezulin had 17 saves.
Blades 5, Sharp Shooters 4
Tanner Privia scored three goals and Cameron Berkenkamp scored two
goals for the Blades.
Berkenkamp, Jordan Bennett and Bo Velasco each had an assist and
Cameron Nagai had 25 saves.
Sharks 7, Thrashers 4
Shane Patel’s three goals led a Sharks attack that saw Nolan Smith
score twice and Timothy Francis and Trevor Dunbar each score once.
Travis Bertrand led the team with two assists and Patel, Smith and
Francis each had one assist.
Corey Jones finished with 14 saves.
Garrett Blackwell’s two goals paced the Thrashers. Trevor Clark
had a goal and assist, Dimitri Coutsoyannopolis scored once and Trace
Clark had 20 saves.
