Update: Neither of the Kings’ games with the Wild this season was decided in regulation, with the Kings winning in a shootout in October in Minnesota and the Wild winning in overtime two months later in Los Angeles. As equal as the teams have been on the ice, though, they’re equally as inseparable in the standings, tied with 55 points as the NHL enters its playoff drive. Of concern for the streaking Kings, winners of three games in row, is their road record. They are 10-13 away from home, the third-worst record in the Western Conference. And the Kings play their next 10 games on the road.
