Records: Lakers 34-15; Spurs 40-8.

Record vs. Spurs: 0-1.

Update: The Spurs are an NBA-best 15-6 on the road, though Portland beat them Tuesday, 99-86, thanks primarily to 40 points from forward LaMarcus Aldridge. The Spurs are in the second game of a nine-game “Rodeo Trip,” part of their annual departure from their arena because of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. They don’t play another home game until Feb. 23.
