Update: St. John’s has lost five of its last eight games, but the defeats haven’t come against a collection of nobodies. The Red Storm recently completed a stretch of eight consecutive games against ranked teams before pulling out a 58-56 victory over Rutgers on Wednesday. UCLA Coach Ben Howland said maintaining composure against St. John’s pressing, trapping attack would be critical to obtaining a victory that could considerably enhance the Bruins’ postseason resume.
