Update: A triumph over the Golden Bears would give UCLA its 20th victory and leave the Bruins with at least five games to play before the NCAA tournament field is selected. “It signifies you’ve had a good season, a fine year,” Coach Ben Howland said of the threshold. “It’s good to do.” Howland said he expected Cal freshman Allen Crabbe, who is averaging 15.4 points in Pac-10 play, to return from the concussion that has sidelined him the last two games.
