For Groupon groupies (and wannabes), here’s a cool deal on Southern California‘s Santa Catalina Island that includes transportation and a two-night stay for $249 plus tax. The deal can be used midweek or weekends, but you must purchase by Saturday night.
The deal: With the Groupon offer, you get two round-trip ferry tickets on Catalina Express and two nights at the Hermosa Hotel and Catalina Cottages in Avalon, a budget hotel a half block from the beach. The rooms in the offer are specified as B room in the hotel or a B cottage; check out the room amenities and details on the hotel’s website.
The $249 Groupon rate includes tax. Those who opt for a midweek visit can choose between two free tickets for a Segway tour or a free activities package that includes mini-golf, movie tickets and a ghost-themed walking tour.
When: The Groupon coupon must be purchased by 11:59 PST Saturday for stays and travel through June 30.
